What is Veri*Factu?
It’s the Spanish Tax Agency’s system for recording invoices so they can’t be altered and, if you choose, sending them to the Tax Agency as soon as they’re issued. Spain’s Anti-Fraud Law requires it from anyone who invoices with software.
When does it become mandatory?
From 1 January 2027 for companies and from 1 July 2027 for the self-employed. With MMEFactu you can start now and switch on sending to the Tax Agency whenever you want.
Do I need a digital certificate?
Yes. You upload it to your account once, and the system uses it to sign and send each invoice.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes: subscriptions include a 14-day free trial. And you can take a look inside the system right now, without signing up.
Do I have to install anything?
No. It works in your browser, from anywhere, and runs on our server.
