What nobody tells you

Any software can add the digital fingerprint and the QR code. The hard part is knowing which VAT goes on each invoice

Domestic, EU, exempt, with withholding or with equivalence surcharge. MME Factu takes care of it, using the details you already have about your customer and what you sell.

The system sets the VAT

It looks at where your customer is, whether they are a business or a consumer, and whether you sell a product or a service. And it warns you if you mix things that can’t go on the same invoice.

EU VAT numbers checked

Before invoicing a business in another EU country without VAT, it checks their VAT number in the EU register.

Withholding and surcharge, when they apply

If you are a self-employed professional, it suggests the IRPF income tax withholding. If your customer is under the equivalence surcharge scheme, it adds it.

Sent to the Tax Agency instantly

It numbers, signs and sends each invoice to the Spanish Tax Agency with its QR code, and tells you whether it was accepted.

Fix without breaking anything

Amending invoices, cancellations and corrections, the way the law requires. An invoice is never deleted.

Your accountant, on board

A second user for your accountant, who can see everything but can’t change anything. And your expenses, in the same place.

A look inside

Everything you invoice, clear and at a glance

The Tax Agency receives it, and you keep the proof

Each invoice is recorded and chained to the previous one: if anyone changed it later, it would show. You can see what was sent, when, and the code the Tax Agency accepted it with.

  • Sending starts switched off: you turn it on whenever you want
  • The list shows which invoices are sent, pending or have an error
  • Every invoice PDF carries its QR code

Fix without breaking anything

A return, a discount after the sale, or an invoice that should never have existed? You fix it from the invoice itself, the way the law requires. Nothing is deleted and every correction stays linked to the original.

  • Amending invoices and cancellations, with or without a refund
  • Each amending invoice linked to its original
  • Each line’s ledger account, ready for your accountant

Frequently asked questions

What is Veri*Factu?

It’s the Spanish Tax Agency’s system for recording every invoice so that it can’t be changed afterwards, and sending it to the tax authorities as soon as it’s issued. Spain’s Anti-Fraud Law requires it from anyone who invoices with software.

When is it mandatory?

From 1 January 2027 for companies and from 1 July 2027 for the self-employed. With MME Factu you can start now: sending to the Tax Agency comes switched off and you turn it on with one button whenever you want.

Do I need a digital certificate?

Yes. It’s the same certificate you already use for dealing with the Spanish Tax Agency: your company’s, or your own if you are self-employed. You upload it once in your company’s profile and the system signs and sends each invoice with it.

What if I make a mistake on an invoice?

It isn’t deleted: it’s corrected. If there was a return, a discount or a wrong price, you issue an amending invoice; if the invoice should never have existed, you cancel it; and if only one detail of what was sent was wrong, you correct the record. Everything is recorded and linked to the original invoice.

What VAT goes on an invoice to a business in another EU country?

If the business has a valid EU VAT number, the invoice goes without Spanish VAT: for products it’s an intra-EU supply, and for services your customer declares the VAT in their own country. Before invoicing at 0%, MME Factu checks that VAT number in the EU register (VIES) and warns you if it isn’t valid.

And the equivalence surcharge?

If you sell products to a retailer under the equivalence surcharge scheme (recargo de equivalencia), the invoice carries that surcharge on top of the VAT: 5.2% with 21% VAT, 1.4% with 10% and 0.5% with 4%. You tick it once in the customer’s profile and the system adds it automatically.

Do the prices include VAT?

No. All prices exclude VAT: the applicable VAT is added to your invoice.

Do I have to install anything?

No. MME Factu works in your browser, from anywhere, and runs on our server.

Can I change plan?

Yes. If you need MME ERP later on, write to us and we’ll adjust your subscription without losing your data. Veri*Factu invoicing is included in the ERP’s Premium plan.

How do I sign up for MME Factu?

Choose the monthly or annual plan, click its button and complete the payment. You’ll receive the contract to sign by email and a link to set your password, along with the rest of the instructions.
